Welcome

Welcome. You have reached my website.

I'm Paolo C. Conti, book writer, journalist, entrepreneur and passionate traveler.

I have tried to put together here some basic information about my professional activity, some pieces of my recent work, and all the ways you can stay in touch with me.

I have recently unveiled a new website called Too Lazy To Do It, aimed at letting people share their business creativity. It is a non-profit initiative. You can find the most recent posts in the Thoughtstream section, here on the right. This section will soon include the posts from a soon-to-be-released second blog.

On this website you can also find some basics about Cedites, the center for studies of the communication of science and technology I manage in Rome, and about the books I have written in my career.

Speaking of which, in October 2008 the second edition of my investigative work about food (The Legend of Good Italian Food, published by Fazi Editore) will be available in Italian bookstores. Publications in other languages have been taken into consideration, and of course I'm open to suggestions.

Feel free to leave your email address on the lower-right end of this homepage if you want me to update you with relevant news about my activities. I will use it judiciously and of course I will not share it with anybody.

Thanks for your visit!

President Obama and the new American look

I am surrounded by friends rejoicing for Barack Obama's triumph. I am happy too. Disappointed as I am by George W. Bush's policies, by the political isolationism of the United States, by the absurdity (yes, I know about the actual reasons...) of t...
